Beautiful pictures... I do have one question though -- and please, i mean no offense by it:
Why do Filipinos send to touch statues so much and bow down to them? I know that this is often seen as idolatry and with great suspicion. I've even had a Filipino lady tell me to say hello to "her" (which was a statue of the Blessed Virgin).
I think in our culture (i'm Filipino as well). We are putting too much emphasis on this. I am no Protestant, I love our tradition of having statues... but I think we, as Filipinos, often go overboard.
