Cardinal Mahony on the Tridentine Mass

Ann Scolari: What are your thoughts on the Trindentine mass?

CardinalMahony: Ann: The Tridentine Mass was meant for those who could not make the transition from Latin to English [or other languages] after the Council. But there is no participation by the people, and I don’t believe that instills the spirit of Christ among us.

For them Mary was NOT an active participant in the Sacrifice of our Lord.

Solemnity of Christ the King (Ordinary Form)

Let all of us be reminded that Christ's, our Lord God and our Sovereign King. Therefore all of us, especially those who have positions of influence: parents, elders, teachers, professors, religious formators, catechists, lawyers, politicians, priests, bishops should never ever surrender ourselves to false teachings, false theologies, false bills that would undermine the sovereign authority of our Lord over this world, the same world He redeemed with the price of His Blood, and false teachings, false theologies, false bills that would corrupt His beloved children.
